Zara Whites – Pornoactrice
In de jaren ’90 verwierf Esther Kooiman, bekend onder het pseudoniem Zara Whites, bekendheid als een van de meest gevierde pornoactrices en modellen. Ze sierde onder meer de covers van bekende tijdschriften zoals Penthouse, Playboy en Hustler. Haar carrière begon als naaktmodel in populaire shows als De PinUp Club en het Italiaanse Colpo Grosso, en ze werkte kort in de prostitutie. Na een reeks erotische films verschoof Zara haar focus naar dierenrechten. Haar passie voor activisme kwam duidelijk naar voren toen ze in 2006 in Rotterdam naakt protesteerde voor PETA. Tegenwoordig woont ze nabij Parijs, waar ze zich inzet voor milieubescherming en de hulp aan daklozen. Zara, inmiddels over de vijftig, blijft met haar passie en verschijning een opvallende en stralende persoonlijkheid.
