No había objetos valiosos o que pudieran servir para algo en la actualidad pero a pesar de haber permanecido sumergida en el lago Hartwell durante mucho tiempo, ninguno de los artículos había sufrido daños irreparables. Los objetos resistieron al agua de forma increíble.
Dentro de la cartera había un peine raro, lápices labiales antiguos y tarjetas de crédito caducadas. Estos objetos no despertaron interés en ellos pero sí admiración por su durabilidad. Esto les hizo valorar la historia de la cartera, incluso si su contenido no era valioso para ellos.
