Ela ficou inegavelmente acima do peso, então quando lhe foi oferecido para reprisar seu papel em Star Wars: O Despertar da Força em 2015, ela decidiu perder peso adotando uma dieta saudável e exercícios. Ela conseguiu perder cerca de 18 quilos. Infelizmente, ela faleceu em 2016.
