Salto BASE, un deporte de riesgo
El salto BASE es un deporte extremo que consiste en saltar a gran altura desde objetos fijos, usando un paracaídas para descender hasta el suelo con seguridad. En esta foto espectacular podemos ver a Matt Blank e Ian Flanders que no son dos locos aventureros, sino todo lo contrario, son los dos saltadores BASE profesionales. Lamentablemente, Flanders falleció en un accidente relacionado con un paracaídas en 2015, mientras filmaba un documental en Turquía. Este tipo de saltos se diferencia del paracaidismo por la baja altitud de las zonas que se seleccionan, y es por eso que se lo considera uno de los deportes extremos más peligrosos a nivel mundial.
