Con eso, Carnie perdió 150 libras, sólo para ganar mucho más. Después de dar a luz a su hija Luciana, ella optó por una cirugía de banda gástrica ajustable en el 2012. Su adicción a la comida seguía y era difícil para ella controlarla. Sin embargo, ella sigue intentando llevar un estilo de vida saludable con una buena dieta y un programa fitness para mantener su peso.
