Brendan Fraser and Afton Smith – Settlement: Reported $1 Million

Brendan Fraser Met Afton smith at a Barbecue party hosted by their mutual friend Winona Ryder soon after Brendan Fraser moved to LA, the couple reportedly felt a spark and became immediate friends. After dating for four years, the couple exchanged rings in 1997 and only a year later the two got married among close family and friends. After a couple of years, Afton gave birth to their first child in 2002, their second in 2004, and their third child in 2006. Everything seemed blissful yet nobody knew that the storm was almost about to hit. The couple shockingly filed for divorce the very next year! From family to friends everyone was shocked, however, the battle stretched on for two whole years. The couple was legally separated in 2009 and Brendan Fraser was ordered by the court to provide Afton Smith an Annual Alimony of $900000. Furthermore, The court also gave an order to pay $50,000 of monthly alimony and $300000 annually for child support. However, in 2013 Brendan Fraser appealed to the court to reduce his Alimony based on the reason that he had less work as he hardly appeared in any movies. The court complied and reduced the alimony. It surely is hard to digest that a love that begins so sweetly can end and leave everything bitter. We hope Brendan Fraser can soon find happiness in life once again.
