Santa’s Little Helpers on Their Day Off
Calling Santa Claus the patron of Christmastime wouldn’t be a stretch. After all, he is the would-be mascot of that celebration. The legend of Santa can be traced back to 280 A.D. when a monk called St. Nicholas was born in a city near modern-day Turkey.
Today, much of St. Nicholas’ lore has been forgotten and overshadowed by the more fictional Santa. But that doesn’t make the celebration any less fun. Half the fun is decorating, and the other half is convincing kids that they’ll get gifts if they’re good. Well, this is how we imagine Santa’s helpers would be dressed.
