Ah, yes, fruit prints for the win. We spent a chunk of time staring at these yellow dresses, trying to figure out what citrus fruits feature in the design. Is that an orange or a tangerine, or both? And were the frumpy hats really necessary?
Whatever the case, the truth remains that these women must have put a lot of thought into this design. Back in the day, bridesmaids wore similar dresses as the wife-to-be. But as fashion evolved, the goal became for women to wear dresses that wouldn’t overshadow the bride. Cue the hats and gloves and puffy sleeves.
