He was diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes in 2001, which was why he finally decided to change his lifestyle and lose some weight and get back his ex-marine figure. He avoided junk food, switched to a healthy diet, and frequented the gym six days a week which helped him lose as much as 80 pounds.
