Mark Gonzales es uno de los ex jugadores chilenos más queridos de la selección. Otro de los que elevó su carrera al plano internacional y aseguró un puesto cada vez que la selección tuvo que disputar encuentros internacionales.
Su carrera lo llevó a formar parte del Liverpool, Real Betis, Colo Colo y Magallanes, entre otros. Desgraciadamente un infarto agudo al miocardio lo obligó con mucho pesar a retirarse de las canchas.
Está casado hace once años con la bella bailarina chilena Maura Rivera, quien se ha convertido en una figura mediática, interviniendo en varios programas como panelista invitada o jueza de programas concurso. Maura Rivera ha aparecido en programas como Rojo, Fiebre de Baile, Mi nombre es y Sin Vergüenza.
