Who can forget Anya Amasova from the Bond flick, The Spy, Who Loved Me? The bond girl soon became a sensation, making many a man go weak in the knees. Starting as a model, Barbara grabbed the limelight when she became part of the Eileen Ford Agency and started posing for the covers of Gioia Italy, Vogue USA as well as Elle France. But it was the role of Anya which earned her the coveted celebrity status.
Her personal life hasn’t been as successful as her professional one as she had to consult a divorce lawyer in her marriage with Count Augusto Gregorini. These days, she is happily married to Ringo Starr. She is 72 now, but those magical blue eyes still give us sleepless nights. We will keep on adoring her, come what may.
