DOLLY PARTON – NACIÓ EN 1946
La cantante, compositora, actriz, filántropa y empresaria estadounidense, Dolly Parton, presentó su álbum debut en 1947 y se mantuvo en lo más alto de las listas durante las décadas de los 60, 70 y 80. Parton también ha recibido muchos premios e incluso ha escrito éxitos para otros cantantes. Su sencillo “Jolene” es conocido como uno de sus mejores y Parton sigue siendo una de las artistas femeninas de la música country más honradas. Aunque su carrera musical ha disminuido con el paso de los años, Parton siguió invirtiendo y ahora es dueña de su propia compañía, Dolly Records. Afortunadamente, ella no tiene planes de retiro.
