Zu ihren größten Hits als Schauspielerin zählen Bildnis einer Unbekannten, Rosen für den Staatsanwalt und Der eiserne Gustav. Auch wenn Van Bergen als Schauspielerin nur noch selten zu sehen ist, ist sie trotzdem noch aktiv. Ihre heutigen Leidenschaften sind der Tierschutz und das Schreiben von Kurzgeschichten.
