Cory Booker is a popular name in the political circuit for serving as a junior U.S. Senator from New Jersey since the year 2013. The Democrat happens to be the first individual of African-American origin to have held on to this position.

Aside from that, he served as the mayor of Newark between 2006 and 2013. He filed his Democratic nomination for the United States presidential election in 2020 but suspended his campaign later.
