Former NBA Players Who Surprised Everyone With Their Choice of Jobs After Retirement

Shawn Kemp – Sports Bar Owner

All-Star man Shawn Kemp has been with the NBA for 14 years.  Thrice he was selected for the All-NBA Second Team and won the All-Star team a whopping six times. In 2003, after having been acquainted with sports most of his life he retired. However, he had a 360 turn in his life and launched the Oskar’s Kitchen, which is a sports vehicle.

Everything didn’t turn out the way he had thought and he began a venture that proved a little difficult for him since he was in Seattle. He tried to keep his business afloat for the longest time.

However, he had to give up in 2015. He is still in entrepreneurship as a co-owner of Amber’s Kitchen. We hope that is going well for him, and he can finally find the second innings he had been hoping for and have a comfortable retirement.
