USS Santa Fe

The USS Santa Fe (SSN-763) is a powerhouse among the 30 Los Angeles-class submarines in the U.S. Navy. Launched on December 12, 1992, and commissioned on January 8, 1994, this sub is armed with Tomahawk land-attack missiles, Harpoon anti-ship missiles, and 10 Mk48 ADCAP torpedo reloads—ready for action.

It first deployed to the western Pacific and Persian Gulf in 1997. Measuring 361 feet and displacing 6,927 tons when fully loaded, the Santa Fe is a critical asset in the Navy’s fleet. Between 2000 and 2006, this submarine racked up five naval awards, proving its importance and exceptional performance in operations.
