Phoebe Cates – 1963
Der Teenieschwarm Phoebe Cates begann ihre Karriere vor der Kamera als Model und wechselte wenig später zum Film. Berühmtheit erlangte sie durch ihre mutigen Szenen in Das blaue Paradies und Ich glaub’, Ich steh’ im Wald. Cates wurde zum Teenie Star und ihr Portrait hing in vielen Schränken. Später spielte sie in Gremlins eine der Hauptrollen, hat seit dem aber keine größeren Rollen mehr gespielt. Die Schauspielerin ist mit Kevin Kline verheiratet und führt ein gemütliches Leben; vielleicht hat sie eine Versicherung abgeschlossen, um schwere Zeiten zu überstehen? Cates hat sich ihre Schönheit und Figur bewahrt. Ob das nun auf Grund von effektiven Hautcremes oder natürlichen Mitteln passiert ist, das wissen wir nicht.
