Eric kehrte in den Raum zurück und umarmte Cynthia. Er hat alle ihre Kinder geküsst. Cynthia hingegen wurde auf eine Weise gesegnet, die sie sich nie hätte vorstellen können. Johnny hatte alles so schlecht gemacht, in der Annahme, dass die Drillinge ihm gehörten, dass sie dachte, er würde alles tun, um sie zurückzubekommen. Sie war deswegen monatelang wach gewesen.
Es stellte sich heraus, dass es jetzt eine ganz andere Situation war. Cynthia musste sich keine Sorgen um das Sorgerecht für ihre Drillinge machen, da Johnny nicht der leibliche Vater war, was automatisch bedeutete, dass er das Sorgerecht verlor. Nachdem er erfahren hatte, dass Eric der Vater von drei Kindern war, machte er seiner Wut Luft, indem er Naomi bei Cynthia zurückließ. Johnny hatte das Interesse an Naomi verloren.
