Als sie nach Hause kam, war ihr Geist klarer und sie verstand genau, was sie tun musste. Sie würde Johnny die Wahrheit sagen. Johnny war zu diesem Zeitpunkt nicht anwesend. Cynthia beschloss, alles zu offenbaren, sogar ihre Verachtung für die Drillinge, und zu sehen, wie sie sich danach fühlte. Sie ging auf und ab, während sie darauf wartete, dass Johnny nach Hause kam. Als Johnny ein paar Stunden später nach Hause zurückkehrte, setzte sie sich zu ihm, um die Dinge zu besprechen.
Cynthia überbrachte die Nachricht, dass die Drillinge Johnny anmachten, aber dann offenbarte sie ihre wahren Gefühle. Johnny war überrascht und verletzt. Seine Pläne, ihre Familie zu vergrößern, schienen sich aufzulösen. Cynthia hatte keine Ahnung, wovon Johnny sprach. Er war sprachlos, als er hörte, was sie ihm zu sagen hatte. Tatsächlich hätte Johnny nie erwartet, dass Cynthia all dies auch nur in Betracht ziehen würde. Trotzdem kam es vor. Johnny hatte keine andere Wahl, als zuzuhören und Cynthias Worte zu akzeptieren.
