Erik and his wife, Melinda Karlsson are a team. Eric’s been playing ice hockey since 2008, and he’s been an ace ever since. Like many hockey players from Canada, he’s been rocking the show, and he’s been an even better husband to his wife, than a player for his fans. He’s stood beside her as she’s gone through cyber-bullying which lasted the same length as an entire season of hockey. They’ve even paired up for a fundraiser which aimed to curb cyber-bullying, stating that “cyberbullying can be a horrible experience for the person undergoing it”. It’s definitely bad for the victim’s mental health, and while they’re suing the woman who’s responsible for the offense, they’re doing a good job of raising awareness for the problem as a whole and sticking side by side during the difficult times like any good couple does.
