Dull, tarnished jewelry can shine again with a bit of help from Coke. The mild acids in the soda, like phosphoric acid, eat away at the grime and tarnish, leaving your accessories sparkling. To try this hack, pour some Coca-Cola into a bowl, drop in your jewelry (no pearls, please!), and let it soak for about 10 minutes.
Afterward, give it a quick scrub with a soft toothbrush, rinse with water, and dry thoroughly. The result is a bling that looks brand-new without the fancy cleaning products and a lighter wallet. Still, to be safe, we recommend not drinking what’s left in the bowl.
