Absolutely Nothing Is Special Today
Contemplated the possibility of a restaurant offering a dose of existential reflection with your meal? Tucked away in an unexpected corner, a sign at one eater says nothing is special. Passersby often do a double take, unsure whether to laugh or ponder the deeper meaning behind the words.
Yet, once inside, patrons are treated to an environment that’s anything but ordinary. Despite the seemingly nihilistic signage, the ambiance is warm, and the food, ironically, is quite special. Regulars know the sign is just a playful nod to the absurdities of life and a reminder not to take ourselves too seriously.
