No More Monkeying Around
Walmart stores welcome service animals, but not other types of animals. It’s unclear how the woman in the photo managed to bring her little chimp in, but it could be because the monkey was mistaken for a human baby. The customer could have been buying necessary supplies for the new pet.
Monkeys are adorable when they’re young, but they require lots of attention and care as they grow. They aren’t suited to living with humans, and can become wild animals when they reach adulthood. This is why most animal rights advocates warn against having them in the household, especially around kids.
