Daisy estaba encantada con la idea de darle al perro una residencia que sería muy superior a cualquier otro entorno en el que hubiera estado antes. Tenía la idea de que el perro comenzaba a confiar en ella después de ver al labrador cansado acercarse a ella, y esto le dio la esperanza de que tal vez tuvieran éxito después de todo.
El perro parecía estar cargándola porque se le acercó. Daisy sabía que tenía que apegarse al plan a pesar de que tenía un fuerte deseo de llevarse al cachorro con ella cuando regresara a casa.
