Después de colocar al perro dentro del vehículo, partieron en dirección a la propiedad y luego continuaron conduciendo. Tanto Daisy como John mantenían un volumen extremadamente bajo. Daisy sintió una conexión inusualmente profunda con el perro porque lo había estado cuidando durante los días anteriores.
Aunque todos los demás sentían mucho afecto por el perro, Daisy sentía una conexión especialmente fuerte con él.
