Eddie Van Halen – Alkohol- und Drogenmissbrauch
Selbst die hellsten Sterne strahlen irgendwann nicht mehr ganz so stark und das lässt sich wohl auch über den Musiker Eddie Van Halen sagen. Van Halen hat zwanzig Jahre lang mit der Sucht nach Drogen und Alkohol gekämpft. Zwischendurch hatte er auch nüchterne Phasen, doch die Sucht hat seiner Karriere und seiner Ehe zugesetzt. Seine Ehe mit Valerie Bertinelli wurde 2007 geschieden. Van Halen hat viel Zeit in Entzugskliniken verbracht und musste auch mehrere Mal operiert werden – unter anderem bekam er eine neue Hüfte. Leider musste der Musiker auch gegen Mundkrebs kämpfen, doch wir hoffen, dass seine finanziellen Berater seine Krankenversicherung rechtzeitig auf den neuesten Stand gebracht haben. Trotz seiner schweren Zeit investiert Van Halen immer noch in Musik und ist auch noch immer aktiv auf der Bühne.
