Auch wenn die Fans von Michael Douglas ganz aus dem Häuschen über sein Aussehen am Anfang des 2016 Blockbusters Ant-Man waren, wurde er in Wahrheit durch CGI-Effekte jünger gezaubert, als er eigentlich ist. Der Sohn des berühmten Schauspielers Kirk Douglas, der auch heute immer noch lebt und im letzten Jahr seinen hundertsten Geburtstag gefeiert hat, hat uns vor allem mit seinen Rollen in Der Rosenkrieg, Last Vegas, Die Wonderboys und vielen anderen verzaubert. Seine Karriere hält schon lange an und ist sehr erfolgreich, doch sein wilder Lebensstil, bestehend aus vielen Zigaretten und Alkohol haben seine Gesundheit negativ beeinflusst und ihn lange davon abgehalten neue Filme zu drehen. Bei dem Schauspieler wurde 2010 Zungenkrebs festgestellt und den Bildern nach zu urteilen hat ihn die Behandlung sichtlich mitgenommen.
