How Two Loudmouth Bikers Got Completely Wrecked by a Calm Trucker
The Jokes Dried Up
After Jake failed to get a rise out of the trucker, Travis jumped in, cupping his hands around his mouth and making a loud engine sound. He had joked that the truck probably drank more than Jake did. Still, the trucker stayed calm, his patience throwing them both off.
The other bikers had started stepping back, not panicked, just careful, like they sensed something brewing. Bill caught my eye and quietly asked if I felt it. I had only nodded because words were useless. Sam leaned against his rig, making a comment about how fast the laughter had died. Everyone could feel it. Something was about to break loose.
