BROOKE SHIELDS – THE BLUE LAGOON, 1980
Brooke Shields, a renowned model and actress, was thrust into the entertainment industry at an incredibly young age. Starting her runway career at just 11 months old, she swiftly evolved into a child actress. By the age of 14, Shields had already become the youngest model to grace the cover of Vogue magazine.
However, it was her role as Emmeline in the 1980 film “The Blue Lagoon” that remains her most iconic work. The sensual film often saw her being topless or clad in white swimwear and proved to be a massive success, grossing over $58 million against a modest $4.5 million budget.
