Deborah Kerr, a six-time Academy Award nominee, remains an enduring symbol of beauty and grace in Hollywood’s annals. Her cinematic journey commenced in 1943 with “The Life and Death of Colonel Blimp.” One of her most memorable performances was in the 1953 romantic war epic “From Here to Eternity,” adapted from James Jones’ novel.
In this iconic scene set in the Army barracks in Hawaii during the Pearl Harbor attack, Kerr portrayed Karen Holmes alongside Frank Sinatra.
