In the movie, Angela embodied Stella Payne, a 40-year-old American who discovers unexpected love in the arms of a 20-year-old Jamaican man. Notably, Bassett rocked a vibrant fuchsia bikini and a white beaded necklace while her co-star sported simple black swimming trunks.
