Ed Asner is not just an actor but also an activist and the former president of the Screen Actors Guild. His most prominent character role was Lou Grant from the TV series Mary Tyler Moore. A true legend of Hollywood, he is a humanitarian as he works very hard for the causes that are close to his heart.
