Michelle Thomas played Myra Monkhouse, who was the cousin of Laura’s boyfriend. Owing to the repeated efforts of Steve Urkel who tried to break up Laura and Ted, Ted introduced his cousin Myra to Steve. Despite being extremely pretty and intelligent, Myra became obsessed with Steve. Michelle was not new to the world of sitcoms. She continued with her acting journey until she was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer. Despite having a wonderful career, which meant she could afford the best health insurance, Thomas didn’t last long. She expired at the age of only 30. She must have left behind a legacy and a few life insurance policies for her family.
