Born to be an actress, Brittany Murphy achieved great success at a very early age! Brittany, was a native of Atlanta who dreamed to become an actress someday. She moved to Los Angeles as a teenager to pursue her dream and got her breakthrough in Hollywood films with Clueless (1995). Her acting got her lead and supporting roles in several films including Girl Interrupted, Drop Dead Gorgeous, Broadway, Freeway and more.
The actress bought her $3.85 million house from Britney Spears and lived in the lavish mansion with her spouse Simon Monjack until her untimely death in 2009. The Mediterranean house included 5 bedrooms, 5 bathrooms, a beautiful swimming pool, a patio overlooking the lush green gardens, a gourmet kitchen and more. However, after Brittany and her husband passed away under strange circumstances, the actress’s mother decided to sell off the property. The house was torn off to its roots, giving way to a new, bigger modern mansion costing a whopping $18.4 million.
