Michael Douglas and his wife Catherine Zeta-Jones have bought a 19th-century mansion in Bedford. The 15,000 square foot property was built in 1895 which is why the architecture looks grand.
Fireplaces everywhere give the house a homely vibe and keep it warm in cold winter nights. Every bit of the house looks royal and does justice to the Academy Award-winning couple.
They must be spending a fortune on home insurance though! This home is sort of a symbol of their fresh start, after going through a rough patch in their marriage and then going through a period of separation. The home is over twice the size of the Bedford New York home they owned previously. As can be seen from the pictures, the interior was newly renovated.
