Incredible Celebrity Mansions – See Who’s Living In Style and Who’s Just Wasting Money
Sam Mendes – Est.$3.78 million, Cotswolds
The English director has gifted us with some memorable films throughout his career such as American Beauty, Spectre, Skyfall, Road to Perdition, and many more.
He has also displayed his expertise in directing popular stage musicals like Gypsy, Oliver!, Cabaret, and Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. He was appointed as a CBE by Queen Elizabeth II in 2000 for his services to drama and was even honored with a Shakespeare Prize. He was married to popular British actress, Kate Winslet, but the duo ended their marriage of 9 years in 2011 with the help of a divorce lawyer.
He eventually found love again in the arms of Alison Balsom, a music educator and English trumpet soloist, and they eventually tied the knot in 2017. Back when Sam and Kate were still together, they bought a home in Cotswolds. The property took them around £3 million and boasted of a stone barn, a stable, and 8 bathrooms. We’re unsure what happened to the property once the couple broke up, but we’re certain that Sam has already found a better place to live the rest of his life with his new wife.
