Dolly Parton and Carl Dean – Together Since 1966
It was like love at first sight when the couple chanced upon each other way back in 1964. Dean knew that Dolly was his girl the very first time he had set his eyes on her.
Parton’s gorgeous looks made Carl go weak in the knees while Carl’s lanky and suave demeanor seemed to have swept Parton off her feet. After a brief courtship of two years, the duo walked down the aisle in 1966 in a private ceremony attended by Dolly’s mom, the preacher, and his better half.
It has been 53 years of their married life now, and the two have spent each and every moment of it in each other’s company, vowing never to leave each other’s side until death. Such investment in love is quite rare these days.
