Even though it’s a bit old-fashioned in comparison to some of the superyachts that are owned by celebs across the globe, the Astoria has surely played an integral role in the legendary band, Pink Floyd’s success. The 27-meter long houseboat was built in 1911 and was acquired by David Gilmour in the year 1986. Gilmour transformed the yacht into a complete recording studio, that was witness to Pink Floyd’s last three albums, aside from a number of Gilmour’s solo releases. Well, we consider this as one of the best investments from the icon.
