El sencillo de John Conlee, “Rose Colored Glasses”, ha sido un éxito por décadas, sino más. Él ha lanzado sencillos entre 1978 y 2004, logrando asegurar un seguro de vida con su gran éxito. Aunque él no ha sido uno de los artistas más exitosos de todos los tiempos, Conlee nunca ha tenido ninguna controversia sobre abuso de drogas y nunca ha tenido que contratar a un abogado por tales razones. Su último lanzamiento fue en el 2015 y Conlee continúa realizando presentaciones por todo el país.
