Como una muy popular presentadora de televisión se encuentra Lara Álvarez, quien mantuvo una relación amorosa e intensa por 5 meses con el modelo y actor Andrés Velencoso. A pesar de que les costó un tiempo confirmar su unión ante la prensa y sus seguidores, fue muy corta la historia, pues pocos meses después se dieron cuenta de que no congeniaban lo suficiente para intentarlo un poco más.
