Fue una situación muy tensa, en la que Anders hacía bromas pero al mismo tiempo rogaba que considerasen la solicitud, lo que hizo que perdiera el sentido del humor automáticamente. Este afirmaba todo el tiempo que si no necesitase el dinero, llevaría su colección con él hasta el último día de su vida sin ningún inconveniente. Después de mucho tiempo de idas y vueltas decidieron finalmente llamar a su superior. Tiene lógica, ya que los cajeros del iban a estar muy ocupados con esa cantidad de centavos, y era una situación que apremiaba la respuesta del supervisor.
