“The Land of Fire and Ice:” Exploring the Wonders of Iceland

Iceland is a geological paradise that should be on every nature lover’s bucket list. The Silfra Fissure is a remarkable sight in the country which has formed as a result of two tectonic plates slowly pulling apart. Exactly located between the Eurasian and North American continents, it’s so narrow that you can touch both sides at the same time.
Iceland is also home to the world’s cleanest water, perfect for nature tourists, and its currency is a reflection of that. Fish and shellfish adorn their coins, celebrating the incredible marine life that surrounds them. Icelanders have every reason to be proud of their marine and terrestrial wonders.
