Mónica Carrillo con 46 años lleva más de 20 años de carrera periodística, se podría decir que ya es un ícono. En el 2001 entró a TVE como redactora de noticias, 3 años más tarde pasó a ser la presentadora de la Bolsa en el Telediario Matinal y en el año 2006 entró en Antena 3 Noticias donde ya lleva 15 años trabajando. Tanto en el año 2009 como en el 2017 fue reconocido su labor con el Premio Antena de Oro. También tiene una faceta de escritora y ha publicado varias novelas. Monica mantiene su vida sentimental lejos de los medios por lo que se sabe muy poco.
