Christina Applegate wurde in Hollywood bekannt durch ihre Rolle in Eine schrecklich nette Familie als Kelly Bundy. Die damals noch Jugendliche spielte danach in Filmen wie Fast Food Family, The Big Hit, Super süß und super sexy, Grand Theft Parsons, Anchorman – Die Legende von Ron Burgundy, dem Nachfolger Anchorman – Die Legende kehrt zurück, Alles erlaubt – Eine Woche ohne Regeln, Vacation – Wir sind die Griswolds und Bad Moms mit. Sie spielte auch in Fernsehserien wie Samantha Who? und Up All Night mit. 2008 wurde bei ihr Brustkrebs festgestellt. Nach einer Mastektomie hat sie die grausame Krankheit besiegt. Heute lebt sie einen sehr gesunden Lebensstil.
