Love in the World of Politics: Famous Politicians and Their Better Halves
Kristy McNichol and Martie Allen — Together Since 1991
American singer Kristy McNichol and former television personality Martie Allen have been together for 27 years now. Even though Kristy is a famous singer, Martie has never been a famous personality in Hollywood. It was Kristy who first revealed her partner’s name and claimed that she has been her wife since 1991.
Singer and former actor Kristy McNichol has acted in several TV shows such as Love American Style, The Love Boat, Starky&Hutch, etc. She reached the zenith of her success in the 70s. In 1977 she got her first break in the movie called Black Sunday. Simultaneously, she and her brother Jimmy kept pursuing a music career and recorded an album for RCA Records.
According to Kristy, when she and Martie came into a relationship, they weren’t ready to announce it publicly. Hence, they had to keep their marriage secret for a long time. But, now they’re living quite a peaceful life, away from the glitz and glamour of Hollywood.
