Joy Reid has recently taken over the 7 p.m. time slot on MSNBC. And she makes her presence felt as a top-notch media personality and why not? She has the skill and the experience to handle her job like a pro. There is no doubt about her expertise as she has hosted two shows previously. And it brought a record number of viewers glued to the television with her opinions on all things politics and otherwise.
The Harvard graduate’s talents know no bounds as she is the author of several books such as Fracture: Barack Obama, the Clintons, and the Racial Divide, and her recent additions include The Man Who Sold America: Trump and the Unraveling of the American Story.
Her personal life has been a resounding success as well. Her marriage with husband Joy Reid, an award-winning documentary filmmaker of repute, has just clocked in 22 years. And we are so happy for the duo. They have three grown-up children and the middle one Jmar Reid is an aspiring actor. Although Joy seldom posts stuff on her private life on social media. She does share with her fans her children’s achievements. She is the epitome of the perfect mother, isn’t she?
