James Hetfield and Francesca Tomasi – Together Since 1997
James Hetfield and his Argentinian wife Francesca Tomasi started dating way back in 1992 when she started working in Metallica’s wardrobe department on tour. She met James Hetfield, the band’s lead guitarist, and lead vocalist. They consequently fell in love and got married on August 17, 1997.
The much-in-love couple even renewed their vows in 2004 in the Caribbean. They share three children, Cali, Castor, and Marcella. Hetfield has stated time and again that it is his wife who keeps him grounded.
Tomasi and Hetfield have already clocked in 23 years so far. The couple lives in Colorado and James is super grateful that Francesca has been there beside him every step of the way. It is so heartening to see a love story like that which has stood the test of time, despite all the odds. We love the sweet couple!
