Malgré tout ce succès, il a toujours aimé garder privée sa vie personnelle. De par cette grande discrétion, beaucoup seront étonnés d’apprendre que cela fait maintenant 16 ans qu’il partage sa vie avec la suissesse Alexandra Filliez. Cette dernière travaille dans le domaine du doublage pour Warner Bros. Elle est également pigiste pour plusieurs magazines. Ils se sont rencontrés durant le Festival du rire de Montreux de 2001, en Suisse, un moment qu’Anthony déclare digne d’une histoire d’amour au cinéma. Ils se mettent officiellement en couple en 2003 et se marient environ 6 ans après. Leur premier enfant, Mathis, voit le jour en 2009. Puis vient leur deuxième enfant, Alice Victoria en 2016. Le couple vit une complicité rare et ne manque pas de se soutenir mutuellement dans leurs carrières respectives. Ils sont plus heureux que jamais.
