Robert Redford, oggi ottantottenne, incarna ancora il fascino e l’impegno che lo hanno reso un’icona americana. Nato a Santa Monica, è diventato famoso negli anni ‘70 con ruoli in film come Come eravamo e La stangata, che catturano l’epoca d’oro di Hollywood e l’impegno politico e sociale del tempo. Fondatore del Sundance Film Festival, ha sempre sostenuto il cinema indipendente e affrontato tematiche importanti anche da regista, vincendo un Oscar per Gente comune nel 1981. Elegante e autentico, Redford rimane un esempio di stile, dal grande schermo alla sua vita fuori dai riflettori.
