Arlene Dahl- 1925
Ihren Durchbruch schaffte die Schauspielerin Arlene Dahl in den 1950er Jahren. Zu ihren größten Erfolgen zählt ohne Zweifel die Filmversion von Reise zum Mittelpunkt der Erde von Jules Verne. Wie viele Stars heute bewies sich Dahl schon damals als Unternehmerin. Sie gründete eine eigene Kette von Beauty-Produkten und Dessous mit ihrer Firma Dahl Enterprises.
Der Erfolg ließ hierbei allerdings auf sich warten, doch sie gab nicht so einfach auf. Sie arbeitete fortan mit einer Werbefirma mit dem Namen Kenyon und Eckhardt und arbeitete sogar mit dem erfolgreichen Handelsunternehmen Sears Roebuck zusammen. So viel Durchhaltevermögen soll auch belohnt werden und daher hat Dahl schon ein Vermögen von 6 Millionen Dollar angehäuft.
